New beauty apps for iPhones, iPads, Android offer help with everything from picking out the perfect nail polish shade to finding the right shade of foundation for your skin. You won’t find a “Beauty” section in the iTunes app store, so we’ve put together this list of our favorites apps for you. 

Color Me Stila by Stila Cosmetics

Why we love it: The Color Me Stila app allows you to upload your own picture and “paint” on different shades of Stila cosmetics just by choosing a color and touching a part of your face. You can even adjust the intensity and gloss of any shade with one click. So fun.

MatchMaker by True Match L’Oreal

Why we love it: This app takes the guesswork out of finding the right shade of foundation for brown skin by determining your unique undertone and depth. The apps even shows which celebrities share your same undertone.

Why we love it: The Virtual Makeover app allows you to customize looks with endless combinations of shades for your face, eyes and lips.

Makeup by ModiFace

Price: Free

Why we love it: Unlike makeover apps that only offer products from one brand, this app lets you try out new makeup looks using blush, lipstick, foundation, mascara, eye shadow, lip and eye liner in thousands of colors from every major cosmetic brand. You can even share your looks with friends by email, Facebook and Twitter.

OPI Nail Studio
